Whats wrong with this picture? ........ It has straps for earth quake protection.... its in the Garage.....
It has a good Stand..... which are all good things.
This water heater could flood and do some damage to the garage because it does not have a drip pan ( round pan that goes right under the water heater on top of the stand) and it does not have a drain to the outside.
Though the water heater is in good condition and does not look like it will flood your 92011 garage, Think down the road in 5 to 8 years when thousands of gallons have gone through and the metal starts to corrode on the bottom. A bi yearly
inspection of the water heater should be planned.
Look for any discoloration or changes in drywall or paint in the areas surrounding the water heater. Water Heater leaks are among the top 5 in flood damage in carlsbad ca. Go ahead and get it in the calender to protect your home.
